Northam Burrows and the South West Coastal Path are also on the doorstep. Just a couple of miles away is the historic port town of Bideford. Beachfield is registered for 6 residents with complex needs including Autism, learning disabilities, Challenging behaviour and epilepsy.
Care you can Trust
Beachfield is located on a bus route and is only a short ride away from Bideford and Barnstaple, where there is an even wider variety of shops, bars and restaurants, swimming pools and amenities. With its own dedicated vehicles, residents at Beachfield are enabled to go much further afield if they wish. Residents are often seen out and about locally at concerts and pantomimes having a great time, and are very much part of the local community. In the warmer weather residents can spend time in the garden and even enjoy their meals ‘al fresco’.
Beachfield is a large, detached Victorian house with 5 good sized bedrooms, all of which are en-suite, as well as a single, self-contained apartment. All rooms are comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated to give light, fresh, homely feel to the rooms. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own belongings, furniture and, if preferred, decorated with their choice of décor. Beachfield enjoys the benefits of a large garden, where residents can sit and relax or play and enjoy themselves.
Beachfield is managed by Chris Bricknell-Sproston. Chris is supported by a team of highly-qualified and experienced staff who provide a person-centred approach to the care of their residents, taking pride in promoting high-quality, 24-hour care to support the individual in developing to their full potential and gaining independence.
Chris and his team work closely with the resident’s families and friends and well as their GP’s, Social Workers, Consultants, and all other professionals involved in the care of their residents, to ensure that they are and fit and well and can live as independent a life as possible.
