Ark Home Care Services
With multi skilled staff able to support people to maintain their independence and stay in their own home, we can supply nurses and carers from 24 hours a day working with the elderly, terminally ill, physically disabled, children with life threatening illness and special needs, enabling work with adults and children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. We are able to work closely with client's receiving Direct payments and Independent Living fund.
Ark Training Services
All our trainers hold relevant teaching qualifications (Nurse tutors), are qualified Nurses, manual handling trainers and are D32 / D33 Assessors.
The following are a sample of
the courses we are able to supply either on site, at your homes or at our own
training venues. All Courses are certified with certificates issued individually
or as a group if required for registration purposes and PREP.

Agency Member Training
We believe that training is the key to quality staff therefore, all of our Agency members are trained in basic care skill - Moving & Handling (annually); First Aid; Food Hygiene and where appropriate Restraint. All are renewed every three years. All our members must attend the Induction day to include TOPPS Inductions Standards and specific training for the agency. We also provide NVQ levels 2, 3 and 4 and many of our staff are NVQ qualified.
