We have developed a large base of very experienced staff in all fields of the care sector and are able to provide nurses and carers in many specialist areas.

Nursing and Residential Homes (Care Homes)

With over 50 years experience in supplying staff to Nursing and Residential Homes in North and East Devon, we know how to match the needs of our clients with our most suitable nurses and carers. We have qualified Registered nurses able to take charge at anytime as well as highly qualified and experienced and motivated auxiliaries / carers. We have a rigid training regime with our members undergoing Moving and Handling, first aid, Food hygiene and Health and safety training and with many already holding NVQ's Levels 2, 3 and 4.

Challenging Behaviour / Learning Disabilities and Mental Health

We have a very high calibre experienced staff with extensive knowledge in this specialist  field, and with many years working in this sector behind them. We are able to supply agency  members at all levels and are all trained and fully competent to deal with the complexities of this client group. We are able to fulfil any shift requirements you may have for day or night. We have an on-going programme of training and supervision for all our staff - and have specialist courses especially for this care group. Many of Ark Nursing and Care agency members have training in Restraint, NAPPI, SCIP, and Control & Restraint.

NHS Trusts and Private Hospitals

We Have a vast number of experienced Trained Nurses as well as auxiliary / carers to cover at short notice in any NHS Units, GP Surgeries Health Centres etc. We work closely with the Hospital Banks and professionals to ensure high standards in all areas of this specialist field of care. We also have specialist nurses able to cover short or long term placements.

Schools

We have fully qualified members - from qualified nurses and First Aid trained carers - able to step in at short notice, in this very specialised field; cover any long term placements; sickness absences or long term periods of leave.
